Spark Plug swap success

Swapped out the spark plugs on my '19 R3 recently and thought I'd share. I was around 8k miles and noticed the idle getting rough and throttle response felt off. Pulled the tank and airbox, dropped in some fresh NGK CR8Es, and the difference was night and day, idles smoother, pulls cleaner.

It was a pretty easy job, just needed some patience and the right tools. Anyone else done theirs before ?

Oh nice, love hearing about stuff like this, it's crazy how much a simple plug swap can wake things up, I did mine around 7k and had the exact same feeling, just buttery smooth after. its really always cool to wrench on the r3, such a friendly little bike to work on.

Good for you! but for me, I cant find this brand anywhere near me. Anyone has tried Autolite or Bosch?

Great work on swapping out the spark plugs! It's surprising how much better the engine runs with new ones. If it's still a bit rough, check the spark plug gap to see if it's set right. You could also try the 12-minute idle reset so the ECU can get used to the new setup. Let me know how it turns out

I roll with new NGK Iridium. Will probably swap them soon, but their now 4 years old at this point and running pretty solid so far. Stock intake and exhaust, no tune.

I actually did mine when I was at 7k and it was worth it. It felt like the bike only achieved its full potential after that. Once the tank is off, it becomes smooth sailing. And also, NGKs for the win. Good choice.
